YOURIWI LOGO STORY

YourIwi is about people, whānau and connection.

Once you register on YourIwi, we contact the groups you’ve selected, and enable them to connect and communicate with you on one simple online dashboard.

The YourIwi logo was crafted by Kereama Taepa, a renowned Bay of Plenty Māori artist with a close connection to Scott and Angela Campbell.

Hand-sketched in the Campbell Squared office, Kereama brought the logo to life after hearing the story of YourIwi.

His inspiration for the logo came from the folding of the harakeke flax, which is unique to Aotearoa, and one of our most distinctive and oldest native plants. Cherished by Māori, it symbolises whānau (family), collective strength, and protection of our most vulnerable.

The spaces created within the logo reflect the wharenui, connection to the whenua, maunga and moana, and connection to woman, child and whakapapa.

We thank Kereama for the taonga he has created for us.
