About 850,000 people across Aotearoa whakapapa to an iwi, yet most of the iwi have as little as 10% of their whānau registered, missing out on meaningful connections and engagement. To make it easier for iwi, hapū and other Māori organisations to connect with existing iwi members and attract new members to register, we developed YourIwi.

YourIwi has hit the ground running and we’ve had some great coverage already. RNZ produced an article on our online tool yesterday, Te Ao and Te Karere also featured YourIwi on air earlier in the week.
We had a great time with the Te Mana O Ngāti Rangitihi whānau on Sunday and we are grateful for the warm reception at their papakainga.
